Music video for Columbia Records artist Broken Bells. To create the light ray effects, first the areas that were to glow were rotoscoped and then sent to be laser cut out of card stock. Those thousands of frames were photographed on an animation stand lit up from the back, in order to practically capture the rays of light. These rays were then stabilized and then composited back on to the original footage.
